Sunday was Father's Day.
My dad's been gone for 14 years now.
Can't believe so much time has passed.
Dad always told me it was better to give than receive, and he lived by that.
I am definitely his daughter, because I find GREAT JOY in giving.
That could be my time, my money, or just a bottle of water to a homeless lady on the street.
2 Corinthians 9:6 The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
Now, what does this mean for me as a health coach?
It takes time to help someone get healthy.
Sometimes, I have to give so much of myself in time, energy and emotions.
But it's so worth it when my client starts seeing themselves with loving eyes, maybe for the first time in their life.
THAT'S my reward.
Proverbs 11:25 A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.
Thanks for the lesson, dad. Miss you.
I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!
It's better to give than receive
You're fine because you're MINE
